Back in Action!

I promised a blog post as soon as I found out about my job status for next year, and I'll just start with.

YEAH!!!

I received a letter today telling me I've been placed in W. W. Holes Hall and I couldn't be any happier than I am now. This is the best news I've gotten in a long time, and I'm so excited! I already know two of my co-workers, and I'll find out on Friday who the rest of them are.

I also decided a while back that there was no way I was going to go back to Clarkfield over the summer, and I have talked to my mom about it, and I may be able to take some summer classes. I've already registered for three, and plan on taking them. I just have to line up a living space for the summer, and maybe a part time job, and I'll be good to go. If anyone knows of anywhere in St. Cloud looking for part-time help over the summer, send me their way, I'm their man!

Sorry to make it so short, but I have class soon, and I just wanted to let everyone know! Thanks for reading!

Forgive Me Please!

Hello everyone,

I want you all to know that I frequently check my blog. I don't know why. Maybe I just expect it to update itself. Sorry I haven't posted in a while! I don't really have any excuses aside from lack of motivation, and I just wanted to make this post to update you a little, and let you know that I haven't forgotten my blog! In fact, I've actually made another blog!

My New Gaming Blog

That is my new gaming blog called "Gamers Corp." (Said, Gamerscore, I think the name sounds cool! :P ) Anyways, I know in the past I've told you all that I'd love to someday work as a video game journalist, so I thought I'd get some further experience. Now you'll know that if you come to this blog you can expect to see things about movies, music, and myself, and nothing about video games. If video games are your thing however, please head on over and check it out, and maybe become a follower if you wish! ;)

I've also been reading books lately to expand my knowledge on the subject. A professor here, Matt Barton has written two books on video games, and I'm currently reading his book Dungeons and Desktops. It's thoroughly entertaining, and I actually see it being the first book I've finished in quite a while, and in case you're reading over from BookSneeze, don't worry, I haven't forgotten the book you sent me, it's greatly appreciated, I just haven't gotten around to it yet, but I promise I won't let you down!

If anyone knows any other books on the subject, please don't hesitate to comment on my post. I want to learn as much as I can, especially since they don't exactly teach video game journalism at SCSU.

Thanks for reading again everyone! I really enjoy blogging, and I just wanted to let you know I haven't given up on it! I just haven't had the time or the motivation!

Have a wonderful day!

ALSO, I ALMOST FORGOT.

I reapplied for the Community Adviser position at my university, and I'm very excited because the interview went very well. I have really missed my job, and I would love nothing more than to get it back. I'll know on Monday if that dream will be a reality, and I'll update this as soon as I find out!

Okay, bye!
